DHKZCOL-P is pure collagen in the form of particles. Since, these particles have more surface area; they are more bioactive and enhance wound healing. This product can be used in the deep wounds, stab wounds, and similar type of deep wounds. It is sterilized by gamma irradiation and is safe to use in wound management. ​ One of the major problems in chronic wound healing today is clinical treatment of deep wounds caused by accidents, stab wounds, diabetic ulcers. Management of these wounds is a major challenge in the healing process. Collagen particles can be easily filled in the deep wounds, and they act as hemostatic agent. The collagen particles help in the formation of more fibroblasts at the wound site due to the large surface area.
